This innovative online course offers an opportunity to explore the magnificence and significance of trees in today’s world, and to consider the many ways that humans and trees are connected.

Allowing trees to become our teachers, we’ll explore themes of growth and resilience, strength and suffering, individuality and interdependence. We’ll find creative ways to deepen our creative connection to the natural world as well as to attend to the challenges it faces as a result of development, disease, drought and disregard.

The course will combine imaginative and reflective practices focused on individual wellbeing with the opportunity to consider what role each of us wants to play in shaping a thriving future for the planet. It will appeal to artists, activists, writers, teachers and anyone who is seeking greater connection with and wisdom from the non-human world.
